Description
The Cannes artisan scarf is an exclusive piece from the Marilín collection, crafted in black silk velvet with a hand-painted Crepe Satin panel. The silk velvet brings a warm, luxurious touch, while the hand-painted satin adds movement, colour and an unmistakable artistic finish.
Each scarf is one of a kind, the result of meticulous, hands-on work at the Margaret de Arcos atelier. From the initial sketch to the hand-painting, steam fixing, ironing and final stitching, every step is carried out with exceptional care to achieve a flawless finish.
Versatile and expressive, this scarf can be worn in many ways, adding elegance and a distinctive touch to both everyday looks and special occasions. Its vibrant design evokes a small Mediterranean harbour, where colourful houses, boats and lush greenery reflect a bright, relaxed way of life.
Inspired by the honeymoon journey of Camila Puya de Arcos’s grandparents in the spring of 1953, the Marilín collection carries a sense of romance, refinement and a nod to mid-century graphic design. Each piece captures the spirit of an unforgettable journey through the Mediterranean.

FEEL THE WARMTH AND TEXTURE OF THIS ARTISAN PIECE, HANDMADE IN SPAIN, AND CARRY THE ELEGANCE OF THE MEDITERRANEAN WITH YOU.
My visit to the Margaret de Arcos atelier: It was my friend Rocío, a Sevillian living like me in the Netherlands, who first told me about this remarkable artisan brand. After a first conversation with Ángelo, the commercial director, I had the chance to visit their beautiful workshop in the heart of Seville. As soon as I walked in, I found myself immersed in a vibrant atmosphere filled with colour, creativity and a deep passion for the craft.
I was struck by the precision with which Camila brings each piece to life, and by the sense of quiet luxury present in her work. Over coffee, it was inspiring to hear the story of the brand and learn about the projects they were developing at the time. I left the studio with a hand-painted fan and a Limonero scarf, whose vivid greens, blues and yellows still remind me of that visit. And truthfully, I’m already thinking about which piece from the Marilín collection will be my next choice.

The advice of Belma Craft & Art
Let the hand-painted design take centre stage. Wear the scarf loose on both sides to create a long, refined silhouette, or wrap it lightly around your neck if you prefer a more polished look. Pair it with neutral tones —white, beige, navy or soft grey— to highlight its colours and Mediterranean spirit.
