I'm Belén Rodríguez
Born in Spain, originally from Valladolid, later adopted by Madrid, I now reside in the Netherlands out of love.
During my professional journey, I’ve had the opportunity to explore the vibrant streets of Milan, the bustling markets of London, and the charming canals of Amsterdam. It was during these exploratory walks that my passion was ignited— the sheer joy of discovering beautiful, unique and exclusive items in small shops, ateliers and workshops.
For the past sixteen years, I’ve been living in the Netherlands with my husband and son. Each trip back to Spain represents an opportunity to uncover new artist, visit their workshops and bring back handcrafted pieces that infuse my home with the essence, originality, freshness, and color of Spain.

After more than twenty-five years in the financial sector, I had the opportunity to start a new chapter in my life. This time, armed with more experience and a clearer sense of what I wanted.
Founding Belma Craft & Art in the Netherlands has been both a challenge and a gift. Now, my passion for craftsmanship, art and design has become my profession.
I’m excited to share with you a curated selection of pieces by Spanish artists, previously unseen in the Netherlands. My aim is to assist you in discovering art and decor for your home, as well as accessories and gifts, all infused with the essence and contemporary charm of Spanish design and the professionalism and closeness of Belma Craft & Art.
My mission is to forge a connection between the exclusive works of Spanish artists and artisans and those who find joy in authenticity and uniqueness.

At Belma Craft & Art, I have the privilege of collaborating with renowned artisans and artists, including:
- Ana and Francis Tejedores-Handwoven, members of the European craftsmanship excellence guide “Homo Faber Guide” and recipients of the 2020 National Crafts Award.
- Ángela Mena, a contemporary painter and recipient of the First Painting Prize from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Seville,
- Belén Bajo, a jewelry designer crafting unique contemporary pieces with natural stones.
- Camila Puya de Arcos, a designer and master artisan in hand-painted silk, also recognized in the “Homo Faber Guide” under the brand “Margaret de Arcos”.
- Mouette 12, ceramic designer crafting delicate and unique custom pieces.
- Neka, a paper artist who also crafts objects from paper that she creates herself.
- Taller Piccolo: designers of bags, accessories and furniture with a sustainable approach and a highly personal aesthetic.
- Yano Yoro: a recognized artist for her mastery in Oriental painting, both on paper and porcelain.
