My visit to Margaret de Arcos’ workshop: It was my friend Rocío, a Sevillian with whom I share experiences in the Netherlands, who introduced me to this artisan brand. After an initial conversation with Ángelo, the commercial director, I took the opportunity to explore their beautiful workshop in the heart of Seville. Stepping inside, I found myself immersed in an atmosphere filled with creativity, artistic energy, and a burst of vibrant colors.

I appreciated the artisanal skill with which Camila crafts each piece, experiencing the natural feeling of luxury and sophistication that silk brings. We enjoyed a coffee and a relaxed chat; it was inspiring to hear firsthand about the brand’s history and learn about their new projects. I returned home with the Limonero fan and foulard, their intense shades of green, blue, and yellow keeping the fantastic memories of my visit alive.

It covers defects such as imperfections, breakages, or discolorations, provided the care and washing instructions specified on the accompanying card are followed, and the purchase receipt is retained. CARE: Hand-painted silk is a natural material that is highly durable when properly cared for.

All Margaret de Arcos pieces are steam-fixed, making them washable. To wash a foulard, as it is a delicate piece, it is best to wash it by hand. Use a neutral soap and cold water. Rinse until there is no soap residue, and the water is clean. To dry it, never hang it out to dry. It is first dried with a towel to remove excess water and then ironed flat, with a thin cloth on top, until it is completely dry. The iron can be set to maximum power but without steam.
