My first jewelry piece by Mouette12: I learned about Elsa Mateo, the ceramist behind this brand, through a friend from school. Since Mouette12 is located in the same city as my parents, I had planned to visit during Christmas, but the pandemic prevented travel. To get a closer look and feel of the pieces, I reached out to Elsa and requested one of her ceramic pendants. To my delight, I received it on December 24th!

I was captivated by its delicacy and warm minimalism. Furthermore, knowing it came from Valladolid, wearing it made me feel closer to my parents during the first Christmas we spent apart.

The cuff bracelet is a timeless trend in jewelry. You can wear it in the summer with a sleeveless top or a casual shirt, as well as in other seasons, pairing it with the fitted sleeve of your dress or sweater to add a touch of volume to your look. In any case, this bracelet will be the centerpiece of your outfit.

This piece is handcrafted to order with an estimated delivery time of up to 30 days.

Please note that it undergoes a meticulous crafting process and double firing. Your bangle is then shipped from Valladolid, Spain, to us in the Netherlands, where we verify the status before final shipment. We’ll keep you updated on you order’s status. RETURNS: Please note that on-demand orders are non-returnable.

WARRANTY: With your cuff, you will receive a Mouette12 authenticity card. This piece does not bear the engraved Mouette12 logo, as it might become too visible.

PHOTOGRAPHS: We take great care to ensure that the colors and shapes you see on the website are as true to the originals as possible. However, please be aware that variations in colors and shades may occur due to technical limitations and your monitor’s settings. If you have any questions or need more details, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

MATERIALS: The ceramic application is crafted from calcareous clay, known for its very white firing properties for both wheel and hand modeling, as well as white powdered clay mixed with water. The glaze used is entirely lead-free.

CARE: The cuff is adjustable, although we recommend adjusting it the first time. Constantly opening and closing it may cause the ceramic piece with the bug, which is glued, to detach. Handle it with care.

As for caring for the brass, if it darkens, you can clean it with lemon or with silver cleaning products.
