Description
Our Tea Set consist of three essential pieces: a teacup, a saucer, and a teaspoon. You have the option to elevate it by adding a beautiful matching teapot.
Inspired by the Four Noble Gentlemen of Chinese painting (plum blossom, orchid, bamboo, and chrysanthemum), Spanish artist Yano Yoro hand-paints artistic and whimsical designs that breathe life into this original collection. Despite their delicate appearance, these porcelain pieces are sophisticated, lightweight, and resilient, though they appreciate your gentle care. Each piece undergoes a meticulous three-firing process, ensuring the perfect integration of colors into the porcelain and guaranteeing durability.
You can choose between the “Bamboo” and “Plum Blossom” designs for your tea set, and Yano Yoro will exclusively paint it for you, making each set a unique piece that transforms your tea time into a genuine pleasure.

My first piece from Yano Yoro: It was my friend Raquel from A Coruña who introduced me to this talented artist. Upon seeing photos of her work, I was captivated by their sensitivity and beauty. I decided to reach out to Susana Llorente, the artist behind Yano Yoro. Taking advantage of my summer vacation, I had the chance to visit her, learn more about her work, and closely admire her porcelain pieces and sumi-e paintings. Meeting Susan in person was a true pleasure; during our conversation I felt that she conveyed the same sense of harmony and serenity present in her artworks.
I couldn’t resist bringing home one of her porcelain pendants, adorned with bamboo. It serves as a beautiful reminder to stay resilient in the face of adversity. I hope you love it as much as I do!
