It features a zipper for easy cleaning, and its dense structure ensures excellent insulation and lasting warmth.
The design and making process is entirely manual. Ana and Francis weave each piece with great skill, thread by thread, on a wooden artisan loom, using only their hands and feet. They take great care with every finishing detail: hand-overcasting the edges, washing, brushing and steam-pressing each piece, all done by hand to ensure softness, durability and an impecable finish.

My visit to Ana y Francis Tejedores’ atelier took place in January 2022. I fondly remember being surrounded by an array of colors and textures, listening to the rhythmic sound of the looms that Ana and Francis skillfully operated with their feet and hands. Their notebooks, with annotations and sketches, revealed the precision behind each woven piece and the ideas for future designs. The serenity of the atelier blended with the beauty of the landscape outside—greens, blues and ochres.
Touching their scarves and feeling the softness of their rugs, cushions and throws, I could sense the care they put into their craft. Meeting Ana and Francis was a pleasure, and I remain grateful for the warm welcome they offered me and my six dear friends who accompanied me. It was a memorable visit for all of us.

MATERIALS: 100% Merino wool.
Merino wool is a premium fiber derived from the hair of Merino sheep. Known for its exceptional softness, flexibility, breathability and excellent insulating properties, the Merino sheep used to obtain this wool are native to Extremadura. They are treated with utmost care and respect to ensure the highest quality and softness.
FINISHES: There are no knots in either the warp or the weft. All weft joins are carefully hand-finished along the selvedges with a needle to ensure a clean, durable finish. Each piece is hand-washed with natural soap and steam-pressed to stabilise the fibre and dye, allowing it to reach its final dimensions and reveal its full character.
CARE: To preserve its quality and prevent damage, we recommend hand-washing with a mild detergent in cold water. When drying, turn the cushion cover inside out and use clothespins on the hem to avoid marks and to make ironing easier if needed. Although ironing is not required, you may do so on a wool setting if desired.
