Every cushion is made with care and intention. Ana and Francis weave each one thread by thread on a wooden artisan loom, using only their hands and feet. The finishing is just as thoughful: hand-washed with natural soap, brushed to enhance softness and loft, and finally steam-pressed by hand for a refined touch Their dedication, paired with the finest natural fibres, ensures a durable piece that will age beautifully and stay with you for years to come.

My visit to Ana y Francis Tejedores’ atelier in Orcera, in the Sierra del Segura – Jaén, remains vivid in my memory. I remember the colours, the textures and the steady rhythm of the looms as they worked entirely with their hands and feet. Their notebooks, filled with details of each woven piece and sketches of future designs, revealed the thoughtful process behind their work.
The atmosphere matched the landscape— calm, vibrant and full of character, with its greens, blues, and ochres. Touching their scarves and feeling the softness ofc their rugs and blankets left an unforgettable impression, a testament to their dedication. And yet, I was not alone; I was with six wondeful friends, and it became a memorable visit for all of us.

Merino wool is a premium fibre sourced from Merino sheep, a breed native to Extremadura. Known for its exceptional softness, flexibility and breathability, it offers excellent natural insulation while remaining lightweight and comfortable. The sheep are raised with care and respect, ensuring the highest quality fibres.
Alpaca: is considered one of the most luxurious fabrics in the world. It originates from the Andes (Peru) and is obtained from the hair of the camelid of the same name. Alpaca stands out for its exceptional quality, softness, warmth, thermo-regulating properties, hypoallergenic nature, and odor resistance. Despite its fineness, alpaca garments provide excellent warmth while remaining highly breathable. Additionally, due to its scale-free structure, alpaca fiber does not felt.
FINISHES: Each piece is handwoven without knots in either the warp or the weft. The weft joins are carefully finished by hand along the selvedges using a needle, ensuring a clean and durable result. After weaving, every piece is washed by hand with natural soap and steam-pressed to stabilise the fibre and colour. This final process brings the textile to its intended dimensions and reveals its full qualities.
CARE: To preserve the quality and prevent possible damage, we recommend hand- washing it with mild detergent and cold water. When drying, turn it inside out and use clothespins on the hem to avoid leaving marks and, if necessary, to facilitate ironing. Although this piece does not require ironing, if desired, follow the recommended temperature settings for wool on your iron.
